      Welcome to the site!  My name is James, the creator of this blog.  My goal here is simple: to chronicle my journey learning web development in order to hopefully help others along their journey.  

      We always here input from those who have already made it.  We all hear their successes, and learn by talking to many of them just how much they have forgotten about the road that took them to the top.  Hearing and talking to them can sometimes lead to a great deal of frustration and can be very discouraging.

      I want to show that we all start somewhere, by sharing my journey, my mistakes, and my successes.  I want to try and share what I do to learn and eventually make it into the business of web development.  I know that the path and choices I make along this path may not work for everyone, but if it encourages someone to know that they aren’t the only ones who are starting from the bottom in this field, that everyone makes mistakes, then I’ve achieved my goal.  If I can help someone avoid mistakes I am bound to make, then that’s even better.

      There will likely be posts about other things along the way, perhaps some ranting about something or another, but I will make sure those posts are kept separate.  

      The last thing I ask is that if I help you, please, feel free to make a comment.  I would love to know that I’ve been able to help someone, or even to receive some input along the way.
